today started with my sister, danielle, miki, nick & i. he decided to make me choose the direction of were we were going while he was driving. so, when he came to a certain stop, he would go "ok malida, left or straight?" i was like EH?! & i'd have to choose the direction of where to go. so i chose random directions cause i didn't know! & we ended up at a statue of the first japanese man to import tea from china to japan. we took pictures at the statue & after that we went to the tea museum, the same one i went to with rie & my sister. we went inside this time & played our own games by guessing which country the tea sets came from. danielle won! we also met a lot of nice employees during our visit. one was in the world tea tasting center & she happened to be chinese. then we ate at louisiana mama! (: all you can eat salad bar baby! we chilled there for a while, i got seriously full eating the food. mm, pasta, okra & salad! the salads there are sooo good. but miki & nick also bought a few pasta dishes, i liked this rice thing, it was like a creamy porridge. after that we went to the tea museum to experience another tea ceremony & made friends with the employees & a family from tokyo who was also doing the tea ceremony. their baby was super cuuute. his name was taiki :DD he was abbbbsolutely adorable, like a baby buddha. so my sister was like if you teach him english he could be the next obama! & she goes TAI CAN! TAI CAN! lol who can?! tai can! hahaha he was just really adorable. so our group was in the same tea house looking at all the rooms, it was cool. after the museum we went to the new shizuoka airport. we looked around, saw a plane land, laughed at my sister running after nick & then went to a supermarket to buy food to make dinner. miki & i were dropped off at her house while nick took my sister & danielle home because danielle had to head home & my sister needed to pick up a new ALT, who's from australia. i helped miki make dinner by chopping vegetables & whatnot while she was doing tempura. & everyone came & we had soumen noodles with tempura! after, we went to the fujieda festival & watched all the performances. i bought a robe-ish shirt for my brother & other presents for other people. saw more performances, bumped into a couple of my sister's students. i even saw ryuuya from 13Hr. he was super shy LOL. lame. nick & miki had to go ): so they left & i saw miyaka, megumi's friend who also likes nightmare. & two of her friends.. who were also nishikou students. whoops! LOL. so when i saw her, i told her that a few days ago i was watching gazette videos on TV before i went to sleep. i saw reita's new look & i said that now that i really looked at reita, he DOES look like drummer boy. but as i said it, she knew what i was saying so she said it along with me.. but we didn't say it, we screamed it. LMAO! so i went "owada-san wa reita HONTOU NI NITERU MITAI!" so we both were screaming & sophie, the new ALT was like what the hell?! HAHA. her & her friends were really fun to talk with! they were even practicing their english with sophie. then, we saw the same volleyball girls me & my sister ran into at the last festival & talked to them for a long time. & by the time we reached the end of the road, the festival was over. i had a good time tonight!
